Birthday, Birthday.

May 11th, 1989 at 11:59pm: the moment in time I was brought onto this earth. Technically, I have two birthdays, because I wasn't even fully out until May 12th. However, the doctors said my birthday would be May 11th, and I'm more than happy with that! I can't believe another year has gone by and I'm officially 26 years young. It feels like just yesterday I was that little girl in her mamas arms, but maybe it's because I still am... just a lot bigger ;).
Lately, I've been thinking of what I've done these past five years, and thought I would share it with all of you. Some great accomplishments and wonderful times. Some things unplanned and hard to handle, but through it all I am happy where my life is at and proud of who I've become!

Here are some of the biggest things that have happened in the last five years:
- Met Mr. Carter Bell
- Graduated from Oregon State with a degree in Human Development & minor in Psychology with just under a 3.5 GPA
- Carter proposed on his island in Canada and we got engaged
- He was drafted for baseball by the Diamondbacks so we moved to Arizona to start our lives
- While living in Arizona I found out about my tumor and had my brain surgery there
- Lived in 4 different states for baseball {including Arizona}
- Traveled to 16 different states
- Moved back to Portland into our first actual home
- Got married
- Had our Honeymoon in Jamaica
- Worked two different jobs
- Met amazing new friends
- Went through my first round of chemo and finished radiation for good
{I think that's a lot to happen in just five years!}

On Saturday, I was lucky enough to have a last minute Birthday Party {also a celebration for finishing my treatment!}. I didn't plan it that far in advanced because I wasn't sure how I would be feeling, but luckily we had a great turn out and it was so much fun seeing all my friends and family. Thank you to everyone who was able to make it, it meant a lot! Here are some pictures from that special day.

Goal for this next year: Beat the damn cancer & destroy the tumor!
